Dakota Central
Dakota Central provides the connectivity that supports rural healthcare, education and economic development across central North Dakota. The cooperative supported a a gaming event that helps make technology more accessible for individuals with disabilities.
DTC Communications
DTC Communications collaborated with local leaders to deploy one of the largest public Wi-Fi networks in Tennessee at the State Fairgrounds. The network supports more than 1 million annual visitors while enhancing public safety and event operations across 300 acres.
Endeavor Communications
Economic Development
Endeavor is a member of seven local Chambers of Commerce; three Economic and Development Boards; and the state Chamber of Commerce. Endeavor worked with business developers to bring an Industrial Park to the region. This facility, which is served by Endeavor’s high-capacity network, attracted major firms, two of which alone occupy 1.75 million square feet of space and have brought more than 800 jobs to the area. Impact
When the pandemic started, Cirrinity worked with tribal leaders on the Stockbridge-Munsee tribal lands and the Bureau of Indian Affairs to bury fiber and provide service to 15 tribal buildings and 725 tribal homes, improving telehealth, business, and education on the lands. Cirrinity also rolled out a managed Wi-Fi service to connect to customers remotely and helped several local businesses stand up their remote workforces.
Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative
Farmers Telecommunications Cooperative helped launch the High-Tech Connect Center, providing digital literacy, computer skills and ESL training in an underserved community. The center helps residents build technology skills, expand their education and access online resources.
Garden Valley Technologies
Garden Valley Technologies partnered with local schools to give students hands-on experience in broadcasting, video production and digital media while helping the cooperative produce hundreds of live broadcasts. The initiative keeps rural residents connected to local schools, sports, churches and community events while helping students build valuable career skills.
Green Hills Telephone Corporation
In 2017, GHC began a fiber build-out through the business corridor of Chillicothe, Mo. Prior to the build-out, the city's government locations were struggling with unreliable 5/1 fixed wireless and T1 phone lines. Additionally, each location was on separate networks preventing locations such as the Fire and Police department from sharing information.
